We are Velotech's 2nd generation, our predecessors reached the World Finals in the STEM Racing competition last year.

STEM Racing is a hands-on educational competition where students design, build, and race small vehicles while applying concepts from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). It encourages teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving as teams optimize their cars for speed, efficiency, and design.

Building on the legacy of the original Velotech team, we aim to design a vehicle and brand that is empowering, sustainable, innovative, and race-ready.

Car design process - Alfredo

We began by using Onshape and Fusion 360 to create detailed 3D models of our car's components. These CAD tools allowed us to easily collaborate and iterate on our designs, with real-time updates and version control. We were able to create detailed models of the car's chassis, wheels, and aerodynamic features, and ensure that they complied with the rules and regulations set by the national Rules Committee.
